New Delhi, June 10: The Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is set to commence on June 12, taking place in England. This event marks the 10th edition of the T20 World Cup. Many players who participated in the inaugural tournament in 2009 will also be featured in this year’s edition. Let’s take a look at the ten cricketers who have played the most matches in Women’s T20 World Cup history.

Australia’s Ellyse Perry tops the list, having played a total of 47 matches from 2009 to 2024. During this period, she has scored 503 runs and taken 40 wickets. Perry is gearing up to play in the 2026 T20 World Cup.

New Zealand‘s Suzie Bates is the second player with the most matches in Women’s T20 World Cup history. Bates has played 42 matches between 2009 and 2024, scoring 1,216 runs and claiming 11 wickets. She is also set to participate in the 2026 T20 World Cup.

Former Australian captain Alyssa Healy ranks third, having played 42 matches from 2010 to 2024, scoring 1,008 runs. Healy has retired from international cricket.

Indian team captain Harmanpreet Kaur is the fourth player with the most matches in the World Cup. From 2009 to 2024, Harman has played 39 matches, scoring 726 runs and taking 11 wickets.

New Zealand’s Sophie Devine has played 38 matches during the same period, amassing 785 runs and 29 wickets, placing her fifth on the list. Sophie has retired from the sport.

West Indies’ Shemaine Campbelle ranks sixth, with 36 matches played from 2010 to 2024, scoring 333 runs and taking 5 wickets. She will be part of the upcoming World Cup.

Deandra Dottin from the West Indies, Stephanie Taylor, and former Australian captain Meg Lanning are tied for seventh place. Dottin has played 35 matches from 2009 to 2024, scoring 770 runs and taking 31 wickets. She will also participate in the upcoming World Cup. Lanning, who led Australia to four World Cup victories, has scored 992 runs in 35 matches from 2012 to 2023 and has since retired. Taylor has also played 35 matches, scoring 1,014 runs and taking 33 wickets, and she will be in the World Cup as well.

Pakistan’s Nida Dar is in eighth place, having played 33 matches from 2010 to 2024, scoring 353 runs and taking 28 wickets.

Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu, South Africa’s Shabnim Ismail, and South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp are tied for ninth place. Athapaththu has scored 711 runs and taken 13 wickets in 32 matches from 2009 to 2024. Shabnim has taken 43 wickets in 32 matches from 2009 to 2023, while Kapp has scored 453 runs and taken 31 wickets in 32 matches.

South Africa’s Chloe Tryon rounds out the list in tenth place, with 358 runs and 10 wickets from 31 matches played between 2010 and 2024.
