New Delhi, July 22: The Indian cricket team has shown dominance in the T20 format against Zimbabwe. So far, four T20 series have been played between the two nations, with India winning three and one ending in a draw.

The first T20 series took place in June 2010, featuring two matches. India won the first match by six wickets and followed it up with a seven-wicket victory in the second match.

In July 2015, the two teams faced off again in a two-match T20 series. India took the lead by winning the first match by 54 runs. However, Zimbabwe staged an upset in the second match, winning by ten wickets and leveling the series at 1-1.

In June 2016, India claimed a 2-1 victory in a three-match T20 series against Zimbabwe. The first match was narrowly won by Zimbabwe by just two runs. India bounced back in the second match, winning by ten wickets. The final match was a nail-biter, with India winning by three runs to secure the series.

A five-match T20 series was held in July 2024, which India won decisively with a 4-1 scoreline. Zimbabwe won the first match by 13 runs, but India equalized with a 100-run victory in the next match. India then went on to win the remaining three matches by 23 runs, ten wickets, and 42 runs, respectively.

Additionally, two T20 World Cup matches have been played between the teams. On November 6, 2022, in Melbourne, India won by 71 runs. In another World Cup match on February 26, 2026, India secured a 72-run victory.

Overall, since 2010, India and Zimbabwe have played a total of 14 T20 matches, with India emerging victorious in 11 of them, while Zimbabwe has won three.
