Guwahati, August 14: The Chief Minister of West Bengal, Suvendu Adhikari, has announced a financial aid of ₹10 crore to assist Assam amidst the ongoing flood crisis. This gesture has once again highlighted the deep historical and cultural ties between Assam and West Bengal.
Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, expressed his gratitude towards the West Bengal government and its people, describing the aid as a symbol of solidarity from the neighboring state, which shares profound historical and civilizational connections with Assam.
