
New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17. He commended Modi’s leadership for enhancing India’s global standing and fostering development across various sectors.
Born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat, Modi has been serving as Prime Minister since May 26, 2014. He is currently in his third term and holds the distinction of being the longest-serving Prime Minister in India. Modi also represents Varanasi in Parliament and was the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014. This year marks 25 years of his public service.
In his message, Radhakrishnan stated, “Warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under your strong and visionary leadership, India is emerging as a shining star and one of the fastest-growing major economies in the world.”
He noted that over 250 million Indians have risen above extreme poverty due to transformative digital changes. Significant advancements have been made across various sectors, including space, technology, healthcare, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
Radhakrishnan emphasized Modi’s visionary thinking, which is evident in initiatives like renaming underdeveloped districts as “aspirational districts” and promoting border villages as “vibrant villages.” This approach has empowered geographically disadvantaged areas, enabling active participation in the journey towards a “developed India.”
Reflecting on his travels to various states and union territories over the past year, the Vice President observed how these revolutionary changes are reaching even the most remote areas of the country. He concluded with a prayer for Modi’s good health, happiness, and continued strength to lead the nation towards achieving the “Developed India 2047” goal.
