Last week, following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz due to Middle Eastern conflicts, the UAE regained its position as India’s top LPG supplier. Data compiled by maritime intelligence firm Kepler shows that in September, the UAE accounted for 39% of India’s LPG imports, up from just 13% the previous month, surpassing the United States, which had been the largest supplier for the past six months.
