New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is launching a special month-long initiative called the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ starting today, September 17, to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service. This campaign coincides with Modi’s birthday and the completion of his public service journey in October.
The announcement was made earlier this month by BJP National President Nitin Naveen during a press conference at the party headquarters. He highlighted that Modi will officially mark 25 years of public service on October 7, when he first took office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001.
Naveen stated, “Prime Minister Modi‘s journey has been dedicated to public service and nation-building for the past 25 years.” He emphasized that the BJP celebrates Modi’s birthday as ‘Seva Day’ and aims to spread the message of service to the broader community during this campaign.
The initiative will run from September 17 to October 17, featuring various programs focused on service and community engagement. Naveen urged party workers and the general public to participate actively, reiterating that Modi’s service should not be viewed merely as a series of political achievements but as a steadfast commitment to serving the people and the nation.
The campaign will officially kick off with Naveen, along with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav from Ujjain and state BJP President Hemant Khandelwal, leading the events throughout the month.
