New Delhi, April 19: The Vice President of India, C.P. Radhakrishnan, addressed the inauguration of the Balagokulam Delhi-NCR’s silver jubilee celebration at the Tyagaraj Stadium in INA, New Delhi, on Saturday. He spoke about the contemporary challenges children face in a rapidly changing world, including various distractions and dilemmas related to values.
In this context, he emphasized that institutions like Balagokulam serve as guides, connecting children to their roots and preparing them to face the future with confidence and clarity. He stated that this approach reflects the national vision of “development as well as heritage.”
The Vice President underscored the importance of maintaining a balance between civilizational pride and modern aspirations. He noted that the concept of Amrit Kaal calls for nurturing responsible and value-driven citizens capable of leading the nation toward a prosperous future.
Addressing the children, he described them as true bearers of the organization’s legacy. He urged them to embrace values such as respect for elders, love for culture, teamwork, and self-discipline, stating that these qualities would guide them throughout their lives.
On this occasion, he highlighted the significance of the sacred Arpanam conducted during the silver jubilee celebrations. Explaining its profound meaning, he said that dedicating one’s thoughts, actions, and talents to a higher purpose embodies the teachings of Lord Krishna. He remarked that Lord Krishna’s life is an example of selfless action for righteousness and the greater good.
