The most significant moment at the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple in Mathura occurs at midnight. According to tradition, Lord Krishna was born in a prison cell at this hour. As the night of Janmashtami approaches, the excitement among devotees intensifies. Midnight celebrations include rituals, prayers, and anointing, marking the joy of Krishna’s birth. For pilgrims visiting Mathura on Janmashtami, this midnight hour is particularly special.
