VHP Spokesperson Condemns Ghaziabad Murder, Calls It an Attack on Social Trust

New Delhi, May 31: Vinod Bansal, the national spokesperson for the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), has expressed strong condemnation regarding the recent murder incident in Ghaziabad. He stated that on the day of Bakrid, a minor Hindu boy was asked if he had witnessed a sacrifice, which led to his brutal murder. Bansal emphasized that the horrific manner in which this innocent child was killed has shaken the entire community.

He asserted that this incident is not merely a case of murder or a violation of law and order; it is an assault on the trust that the Hindu community has in its Muslim friends and neighbors. This event raises serious questions about the perception of Eid and Bakrid as festivals of peace, harmony, and brotherhood. It also challenges the notion that Islam is a religion of peace.

Bansal questioned how long society will continue to overlook such incidents in the name of peace. He urged Hindu families to remain vigilant, as they should not have to endure the loss of their children to such tragedies.

He acknowledged that the Uttar Pradesh government and police have acted swiftly in this case, with one suspect being killed in an encounter and several others arrested. However, he claimed that some conspirators are still at large, expressing confidence that the police will apprehend them soon.

Bansal stressed the importance of ensuring the safety of the victim’s family and providing them with all possible support, stating that it is the responsibility of both the government and society. He called for unity within the community to prevent such incidents in the future, asserting that India will no longer tolerate such occurrences and that strict action must be taken against the perpetrators.
