Vasundhara Raje Criticizes Rahul Gandhis Comments as Undemocratic

Jaipur, May 22: Former Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje, has sharply criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent remarks targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.

Raje condemned Gandhi’s comments as extremely objectionable and demanded an immediate public apology from him.

In a social media post, she stated that while ideological differences and political opposition are natural in a democracy, using derogatory and disrespectful language against leaders in the highest constitutional positions is against India’s political traditions and democratic values.

She emphasized that Rahul Gandhi’s offensive remarks about Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah are highly condemnable.

The senior BJP leader asserted that political figures should maintain dignity and restraint in public discourse, noting that such language is not in line with India’s civilized political culture.

Raje defended the record of the Modi-led government on national security and governance, referencing significant decisions made under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Home Minister.

She highlighted that using such language against leaders who have taken decisive steps to strengthen India’s unity and security raises serious concerns.

Raje mentioned decisions like the abrogation of Article 370, actions against terrorism, and other national security measures taken by the central government.

She stated that the public is aware and can clearly differentiate between leaders working for national development and those indulging in cheap political rhetoric. The vigilant populace is observing everything and understands the situation well.

Raje reiterated her demand for Rahul Gandhi to apologize for his comments.

Gandhi sparked a new political controversy by making offensive remarks against Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah during a public rally in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh.
