Uttarakhands Sapna Rana Secures Job Opportunity in Germany After Language Training

Dehradun, June 24: Sapna Rana from Tehri Garhwal met with Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence on Wednesday. She successfully completed German language training under the Chief Minister’s Skill Enhancement and Global Employment Scheme and passed the language examination. Following this, she received a job offer at the Schön Klinik Hospital in Hamburg, Germany, with a monthly salary of €3,060 (approximately ₹330,000).

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that the state government is continuously working to connect youth with international job opportunities through the Foreign Employment Cell established under the Skill Development and Employment Department. Currently, the cell is providing language training to the youth for employment in Japan and Germany. So far, around 65 young individuals have been placed in jobs in Japan.

Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna highlighted that there are significant employment opportunities for youth in the nursing sector in Germany. In this regard, the cell is conducting German language training. After completing this training, Sapna Rana, a trained nursing professional from Tehri Garhwal, has been selected to work as a nurse in Germany.

Sapna completed her schooling at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Pokhal, Tehri Garhwal, and her nursing education at the State Nursing College in Dehradun. She has now secured a position at the Schön Klinik Hospital in Hamburg, Germany, through the Chief Minister’s Skill Enhancement and Global Employment Scheme. Secretary C. Ravishankar was also present during this meeting.
