New Delhi, August 8: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has responded to Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant‘s appeal regarding the purchase of land in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister praised Pant, calling him the pride of Uttarakhand, and assured him of all possible assistance.
In a post on social media platform X, Dhami wrote, “Rishabh, you are the pride of Uttarakhand. Your remarkable performances have brought fame to our Devbhoomi both nationally and internationally. Your love for your homeland and your desire to contribute here is truly commendable. I am directing the relevant authorities regarding your request. They will contact you soon to ensure all possible support in accordance with the regulations.”
Pant had reached out to Chief Minister Dhami on X, seeking help to purchase land in Uttarakhand. In his tweet, he said, “Hello, Pushkar Singh Dhami Sir. How are you? Being a native of Uttarakhand, it has been a while since I have been here. I am trying to buy land to shift from Delhi to Uttarakhand, but I am struggling to find a good and spacious place to live. I love my Uttarakhand very much. I humbly request your assistance in purchasing land, as it has become quite difficult to find clean land these days.”
The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman further added, “Additionally, there is a land issue that was supposed to be resolved when I was promoting the state. I want to return to my roots and contribute to Uttarakhand’s development while living among my mountain people. Please pay attention to this matter; it has been three years, and I still haven’t found any land. I look forward to your response.”
“It would be a matter of great pride to represent my state on an international level, but if you allow me, I would like to purchase land from the government at their fixed rates so that I can build my first home in my own state. Please help me with this. Honestly, I am unsure how to proceed,” he concluded.
