Chamoli, July 15: In anticipation of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s visit to Chamoli on July 15, District Magistrate Gaurav Kumar conducted an on-site inspection of the event arrangements in Gopeshwar on Tuesday.
During the inspection, he directed officials to ensure that all preparations are completed in a timely and organized manner.
The District Magistrate reviewed the venue for the program titled “Service, Good Governance, Dedication, and Government at the Doorstep of the People,” which will take place at the Mini Stadium Helipad and Police Line in Gopeshwar. He assessed various arrangements, including security, traffic management, parking, drinking water, electricity, cleanliness, barricading, seating arrangements, stage setup, public facilities, and departmental coordination, providing necessary instructions to the relevant officials.
Kumar emphasized that all departments must work together to prevent any inconvenience for the public and representatives attending the Chief Minister’s program. He instructed officials to complete all arrangements ahead of schedule and ensure that each officer diligently fulfills their responsibilities during the event.
According to the proposed schedule, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will arrive at the Mini Stadium Helipad in Gopeshwar at 11:35 AM on July 15. He will then participate in the program at the Police Line from 12:20 PM to 1:20 PM, addressing the public assembly. After the event, he is set to depart for Dehradun from the Mini Stadium Helipad at 1:35 PM.
The inspection was attended by Superintendent of Police Surjeet Singh Pawar, Chief Development Officer Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, and various officials from different departments.
