A dispute over unpaid dues led to a tragic incident in Gujarat, where two laborers were burned alive in a vehicle.

Amreli, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : A shocking incident has emerged from Amreli district in Gujarat, where two laborers from Madhya Pradesh were allegedly burned alive while sleeping in a passenger vehicle. The victims, identified as 21-year-old Nitin Pachaya and 16-year-old Ravi Baghel, were caught in a dispute over a financial transaction.
The attack occurred late Tuesday night in the outskirts of Gundaran village, where the two men were resting inside a parked vehicle. According to police reports, the accused, identified as Vinod Dodiyar and his brother Raju, reportedly doused the vehicle with a flammable substance before igniting it.
The tragic event stemmed from a disagreement regarding a payment of ₹60,000 related to the vehicle. Vinod had purchased the car on an installment plan from the complainant, Kamlesh Baghel, who is also Ravi’s father. After Vinod defaulted on his payments, the original seller instructed Kamlesh to reclaim the vehicle. Kamlesh had recently taken back the car, which angered the accused.
Authorities revealed that the motive behind the attack was retaliation for the car’s repossession. Both victims were trapped inside the vehicle when the fire erupted, leading to their deaths.
Following the incident, the Liliya police, along with senior officials and a forensic team, arrived at the scene to begin an investigation. The two accused were subsequently arrested, and further inquiries are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident and whether others were involved.
