Tiger Shroff Shooting Case: Accused Sunheha Pandit Denies Direct Connection, Seeks Release
In the Tiger Shroff shooting case, accused Sunheha Pandits lawyer argues against police custody, claiming lack of direct evidence.

Mumbai, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : A special MCOCA court in Mumbai has remanded Sunheha Pandit, the 13th accused in the Tiger Shroff shooting case, to police custody until November 16. Her lawyer, Ajinkya Mirgal, argued in court that there is no direct connection between his client and the case, asserting that the police have already gathered all necessary information. He emphasized that there is no concrete evidence linking her to the alleged transactions involving mobile numbers and foreign cryptocurrency accounts.
Mirgal clarified that Sunheha, also known as Sunheha Sharma, is related to Anil Pandit, a gangster who claimed responsibility for the shooting incident on October 18. She was arrested on November 1 in Karnal and presented in court on November 3. While the police sought a 15-day custody extension, the judge decided to hold her until November 16 after hearing arguments from both sides.
The court noted that, despite the allegations surrounding mobile numbers and financial transactions, there is no direct evidence connecting Sunheha to the case. Mirgal pointed out that the claims of foreign cryptocurrency accounts and fund transfers are based on Indian numbers, with UPI transactions allegedly originating from abroad.
The Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Sunheha Pandit in connection with the shooting, which has raised suspicions about the source of funds involved. Authorities believe that these funds may be linked to extortion activities. Sunheha is married to Abhishek Pandit, who reportedly manages a cryptocurrency account that has received foreign funds. Abhishek, the brother of Anil Pandit, is accused of running two other groups along with his network and is alleged to handle all financial transactions related to their operations.
The Crime Branch has also indicated that other suspects in the shooting case were assigned special codes for money transfers managed by Abhishek Pandit. As the investigation continues, the court’s decision on custody will be pivotal in determining the direction of the case.
