Iran Denies Existence of Iran Conflict, Calls It an Aggressive War by the U.S. and Israel
Irans Foreign Ministry rejects the term Iran conflict, labeling it an aggressive war initiated by the U.S. and Israel.

Tehran, October 23 (Daily Kiran) : Iran has firmly rejected the characterization of the ongoing tensions as an “Iran conflict,” labeling it instead as an aggressive war instigated by the United States and Israel. The remarks came from Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, following discussions between Qatar and France that referenced the term.
In a post on the social media platform X, Baghaei criticized the use of misleading language, stating, “There is no such thing as an ‘Iran conflict.’ This is an unlawful offensive war launched against Iran by the U.S. and Israel.” He emphasized that failing to name the aggressor is not a stance of neutrality but an attempt to evade moral responsibility.
Baghaei further argued that if one lacks the courage to identify the attacker and label the aggression as such, they cannot claim to have the moral fortitude to confront injustice, propose practical solutions, or contribute meaningfully to peace.
He asserted that true and lasting peace cannot be achieved by appeasing aggressors, legitimizing attacks, blaming victims, or sacrificing fundamental principles. Genuine peace can only be realized by acknowledging the truth, respecting justice, and clearly distinguishing between right and wrong.
The discussions between Qatar and France focused on recent regional and international developments. Both nations reaffirmed their strategic partnership and commitment to addressing regional and global challenges together. Key topics included Gulf security, the so-called “Iran conflict,” measures to restore freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, peace efforts in the Middle East and Africa, and the situations in Syria and Lebanon.
Baghaei’s objections highlight Iran’s ongoing concerns regarding the narrative surrounding its geopolitical challenges.
