Lucknow, August 31: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh is set to launch a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ starting on September 17, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. This initiative aims to highlight Modi’s 25 years of dedicated service and good governance. The campaign will run until October 17.
During a recent meeting and workshop in Lucknow, party leaders discussed the campaign’s framework and strategies. According to BJP officials, the initiative will focus on communicating the achievements of PM Modi during his tenure as Chief Minister and Prime Minister, along with the benefits of various government schemes to the grassroots level. This year, the campaign is linked to 13 specific programs.
Uttar Pradesh Minister Dayashankar Singh stated that the campaign will run from September 17 to October 17, featuring 13 special initiatives. Party workers are tasked with informing the public about the work PM Modi has done for the country, the poor, and society over the past 25 years, as well as the benefits of government schemes.
Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal emphasized that celebrating 25 years of the Prime Minister’s service is a matter of pride for everyone. Party workers will visit beneficiaries’ homes to share information about government schemes, including Ayushman cards, housing, sanitation, electricity and gas connections, and ration facilities. Agarwal also highlighted the efforts made by both the central and state governments during the COVID-19 pandemic. He mentioned that communicating with beneficiaries will be a crucial aspect of the campaign.
Minister JPS Rathore remarked that PM Modi has made service his mission. He noted that throughout his public life, Modi has aimed to include various sections of society. Rathore mentioned the Prime Minister’s initiatives honoring sanitation workers, which have sent a significant message to society.
Minister Dharmapal Prajapati stated that this campaign is conducted annually, and it is the responsibility of party workers to ensure that the benefits of government policies reach the public. The initiative will focus on providing relief, honoring citizens, and connecting them with the government through public service programs.
BJP State Vice President Neeraj Singh explained that this year’s ‘Seva Sankalp’ campaign will be based on 13 specific programs. Party workers will implement these initiatives at the booth level. He noted that previously, the campaign ran from September 17 to October 2, but this year, it has been extended to a full month. The meeting included party officials, district presidents, and other workers who received detailed information about the campaign’s execution.
Minister Baldev Singh Aulakh mentioned that programs are being organized to commemorate PM Modi’s 25 years of service and governance. During the meeting, Smriti Irani provided workers with comprehensive details about how to implement the programs starting from September 17.
BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary stated that through the ‘Seva Pakhwada’ and Sankalp Yatra, the party will bring PM Modi’s 25 years of political achievements to the public’s attention. He affirmed that from September 17 to October 17, party workers will disseminate information about the government’s actions and accomplishments.
