Lucknow, May 29: The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is set to take significant steps to enhance the Nipun Bharat Mission and the quality education initiative at the grassroots level. A special state-level training program for district coordinators (Nipun Bharat Mission) and district training coordinators will be held on June 1 and 2.
All district basic education officers have been instructed to ensure mandatory participation of the relevant district coordinators in this training. The training will take place at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Lucknow, with coordinators from all 75 districts of the state participating.
The training aims to strengthen the effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of activities related to the Nipun Bharat Mission and quality education enhancement. The Nipun Bharat Mission is a comprehensive campaign aimed at reinforcing children’s basic learning capabilities.
Over the past decade, the Yogi government has made extensive improvements to the framework of basic education, including technology-based monitoring systems and teaching methodologies. Significant changes have been introduced through initiatives like Operation Kayakalp, smart classes, digital monitoring, e-content, and the Nipun Bharat Mission. The upcoming special training for district coordinators emphasizes effectively implementing these reforms at the school level to enhance educational outcomes.
The training program will be conducted in two batches. The first batch will take place on June 1, including participants from districts in Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Devi Patan, Gorakhpur, and Chitrakoot. The second batch will be held on June 2, covering district coordinators from Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Mirzapur, Moradabad, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, and Varanasi.
The state government believes that strengthening academic monitoring and training at the district level will lead to tangible improvements in learning outcomes in schools. Through this training, district coordinators will be equipped with necessary processes and systems for academic and administrative monitoring, data-driven planning and decision-making, effective review processes, teacher collaboration mechanisms, and improving student learning outcomes (SLOs).
Additionally, district coordinators will receive training on the goals of the Nipun Bharat Mission, foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN), quality assessment, teacher capacity building, activity-based learning, and various aspects related to promoting quality education in schools. This will foster better planning, effective monitoring, and academic collaboration at the district level, ultimately enhancing quality learning in schools.
