Lucknow, June 15: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially announced the recruitment of 209 Havaldar Instructor positions under the 2026 main examination. This recruitment is under the control of the Home Guard Headquarters in Uttar Pradesh. Eligible candidates are invited to apply through an official notification.
The vacancies include 88 unreserved positions, 39 for Scheduled Castes, 5 for Scheduled Tribes, 57 for Other Backward Classes, and 20 for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
The online application process will commence on June 19 and will close on July 9. Candidates wishing to apply for the Havaldar Instructor position must complete their registration on the UPSSSC official portal before the deadline. Additionally, a correction window for applicants who make errors while filling out the application form will be available until July 16.
Applicants must have completed their 12th grade (Intermediate) from a recognized institution, board, or university. They must also have appeared for the PET-2025 examination and possess a scorecard from UPSSSC. Proficiency in the Hindi language is also a requirement.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 40 years, calculated as of January 1 or July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
All candidates must pay a processing fee of ₹25 online while filling out the application form. It is important to note that the application will only be accepted after successful payment of the fee.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on the standardized scores from PET-2025, shortlisting of applicants, a main written examination, physical standards, physical efficiency tests, and merit lists. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100, along with additional benefits and allowances.
