Two Young Men Injured in Car Collision in Pitampura

New Delhi, March 29: A serious car accident occurred near RP Chowk in Pitampura on Sunday morning. A vehicle coming from NSP collided with another car, causing significant damage to both vehicles and injuring the occupants. The police have registered a case and initiated further investigations.

According to reports, the accident took place at approximately 5:30 AM in front of GD Goenka School. A car traveling from NSP struck Raghav Mathur’s Maruti Brezza while heading towards RP Chowk. Following the incident, the Maurya Enclave police received a PCR call from Raghav Mathur, who provided details about the crash.

Parth Gambhir, a 21-year-old resident of Pitampura, was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Shalimar Bagh for treatment. Raghav Mathur sustained minor injuries and was taken to Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital for a medical check-up. The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was also taken to the same hospital for evaluation.

The district crime team arrived at the scene to conduct a thorough investigation. Both vehicles were transported to Maurya Enclave police station for further legal action.

The police stated that a comprehensive investigation is underway. They will review nearby CCTV footage to assess factors such as driver error, vehicle speed, and road conditions. Fortunately, both injured individuals are stable and receiving medical care.

Traffic at RP Chowk was temporarily affected due to the accident, but normal flow resumed shortly after.
