New Delhi (Patrika English News): TVS Motor Company has launched a new Special Edition of its best-selling Jupiter 110 scooter, priced at ₹93,031 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant is now the costliest in the Jupiter line-up and ranks as the second most expensive 110cc scooter in India, after the Honda Activa Smart.
What’s special about the new edition?
The biggest highlight is its all-black paint scheme that gives the scooter a bold and modern look. Unlike the standard trims, all badging—including the TVS logo and model name—comes in bronze finish, while the exhaust heat shield retains chrome detailing for contrast. This stealthy cosmetic package sets the Special Edition apart from the other four trims.
Features and equipment
The Special Edition shares its hardware with the Disc SXC variant, offering a front disc brake, digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, and emergency stop features. It does not come with a kickstarter as standard, but TVS provides it as an optional accessory.
Engine and performance
Powering the scooter is the same 113.3cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, producing 7.91 bhp at 5,000 rpm and 9.2 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT automatic gearbox. An electric assist function briefly boosts torque to 9.8 Nm, improving acceleration in traffic. The scooter has a top speed of 82 km/h, making it ideal for city use.
OBD2 compliance
The Jupiter 110 Special Edition is OBD-2B compliant, with onboard sensors monitoring engine performance and emissions in real time. TVS has confirmed that its entire product portfolio will shift to OBD-2B standards by March 2025.
Price comparison
At ₹93,031, this edition sits at the top of the Jupiter range, compared to the base variant priced at ₹76,691. It directly rivals the Honda Activa Smart (₹95,567), strengthening TVS’s position in the premium 110cc scooter segment.

Apart from the Special Edition’s exclusive all-black finish, the Jupiter continues to be offered in six other colours, including Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, Titanium Grey Matte, Starlight Blue Gloss, Lunar White Gloss, and Meteor Red Gloss.
