Mumbai, June 4: Actress Trupti Dimri’s film ‘Maa Behan’ has been released on Netflix today, and she is thrilled about it. While busy promoting the film, Trupti shared amusing anecdotes from her childhood.
In an interview, Trupti remarked, “I believe everyone has faced some form of discipline from their parents at some point. I certainly received my fair share while growing up.”
She humorously added, “On days when I didn’t get scolded, I would still end up getting scolded… I would come home, and someone would say, ‘What happened? You look very happy today.’”
Trupti explained that receiving punishment was a common occurrence during her childhood, but today, she fondly reminisces about those days.
During the conversation, she emphasized that all three main characters in the film are strong in their own ways, each facing equal challenges and chaos.
According to her, the family depicted in the film is quite fragmented and disorganized, which is also its biggest charm. The story places the three characters in situations where they must continuously adapt to manage their circumstances.
Directed by Suresh Triveni, the comedy-drama ‘Maa Behan’ is currently streaming on Netflix. Alongside Trupti, the film features Madhuri Dixit Nene, Dhara Durga, Ravi Kishan, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Arunoday Singh, and Shardul Bhardwaj in significant roles.
The plot revolves around a woman named Rekha, who unexpectedly discovers a corpse in her kitchen. She, along with her two daughters, Jaya and Sushma, faces numerous challenges thereafter. The film beautifully showcases comedy, suspense, and the strength of family bonds.
