Trump Unveils Plans for New White House Ballroom with Enhanced Security Features

Washington, March 30: U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed plans for a new ballroom at the White House, featuring bulletproof glass and drone-resistant designs. He described it as a significant architectural addition, funded entirely by private donations, aimed at hosting major state events.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump noted that the desire to create a ballroom at the White House has existed for 150 years. He characterized this project as a long-overdue upgrade to the presidential complex.

Trump emphasized that the current White House spaces are too small for large diplomatic events. “When we have dignitaries visiting… our rooms are too small. They aren’t big enough to accommodate the required capacity,” he stated.

The proposed ballroom will be designed to match the historical building’s size and style. “It will be the same height as the White House… it will align with and complement it,” he added, calling it “a magnificent match.”

Describing the project as grand in scale, Trump remarked, “I believe it will be the best ballroom of its kind in the world.”

Security is a key feature of the design, reflecting evolving threats. “We will have fully bulletproof glass… drone-proof ceilings; everything will be both drone-proof and bulletproof,” he explained.

He also mentioned that the structure will be capable of hosting significant national ceremonies, including inauguration events.

The ballroom will incorporate high-level architectural elements, such as hand-carved columns in the Corinthian style, regarded as the finest and most beautiful.

Trump stressed that the project is privately funded. “All the money… is coming from me and donors… no taxpayer money is being used for the ballroom,” he confirmed.

Additionally, Trump disclosed that a separate military facility is being constructed beneath the ballroom. “The military is building a vast complex under the ballroom… that construction is ongoing.” However, he did not elaborate on its full scope.

He noted that the project is progressing faster than expected, stating, “We are ahead of schedule and spending less than budgeted.”

Trump also emphasized that the design aims to maintain the visual identity of the White House. “It will resemble a twin building to the White House… we just wanted to honor the White House,” he concluded.
