Chancellor Merz gifted President Trump a German soccer jersey, featuring the number 47 and ‘Trump’ on the back. This gesture took place during the G7 leaders’ meeting, which also included Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Before the formal start of the meeting, Chancellor Merz picked up the gift from his seat and approached President Trump to present it. He raised the jersey to show the number and the president’s name.
