Washington, May 7: President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump participated in the Military Mothers Day event. During the occasion, Trump asserted that the situation is fully under control and emphasized the need to maintain pressure on Iran.
According to the White House, President Trump stated at the event, “We will completely eliminate them (Iran). We will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons.”
He mentioned, “We are dealing with people who are very eager to negotiate, and we will see if they can reach an agreement that is satisfactory for us.”
Trump reiterated that the situation is entirely under control. He praised the naval blockade, describing it as “incredible.” He stated, “The Navy has done a tremendous job. What they have accomplished is like a steel wall. No one can cross it. Particularly, the Iranians are unable to achieve anything, so their operations are completely stalled. We will see if they agree or not. If they do not agree, they will soon have to.”
While addressing the Military Mothers Day event, First Lady Melania Trump remarked, “In every hug, in every story told before bedtime, and in every sacrifice made without complaint, mothers lay the moral foundation of our families. In doing so, America’s mothers help build the soul of our nation.”
President Trump expressed pride in welcoming a group of strong and resilient women at the White House, who represent the best of our country—our incredible military mothers.
He thanked military mothers for their sacrifices, stating, “You have missed holidays, birthday parties, graduation ceremonies, and even your child’s first words. Some have had to move so many times that no one can count, but you do all this because you love America.”
During the event, an active-duty mother from the U.S. Air Force shared her pride, saying, “I am proud to be an American. I am proud to serve my nation in the best Air Force in the world.”
President Trump concluded by affirming that there should never be any doubt about the resolve of America’s military mothers. From the founding of our republic to today, our nation has been strengthened by the love, dedication, and commitment of those remarkable women who have served our country.
