Transformative Changes in Education System Under Yogi Government in Ballia

Ballia, August 4: The impact of reforms in basic education under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is becoming increasingly evident in government schools. A prime example is the Composite Upper Primary School in Sikanderpur, established in 1927, located in the Navanagar development block.

The school currently accommodates 1,128 students and employs 38 teachers. It offers modern education through four smart classrooms, an ICT lab, an Astro lab, and an Activity-Based Learning lab. The school has been honored with the ‘Nipun Vidyalaya Award’ and the ‘Excellence School Award’ for its outstanding achievements. Notably, 20 students qualified for the NMMS exam, and the school secured first place in divisional competitions, showcasing a new standard of quality education in government institutions.

Student Reshma Chauhan shared, “There have been positive changes in education here. Teachers instruct us more effectively. Our school is equipped with modern labs, including a computer lab, a learning-by-doing lab, and smart classrooms.”

Another student, Ikra Naz, mentioned, “Thanks to the smart classrooms, we remember things quickly and for a long time. I aspire to become a doctor.”

Due to its state-of-the-art educational facilities, this school has become the top choice for both children and parents. With 1,128 students enrolled and 38 teachers dedicated to their education, modern resources and better management have redefined this institution as a beacon of government education.

Parent Virendra Kumar noted, “The current government has established a beautiful system. Facilities similar to English schools and convents are now available in government schools.”

Principal Abhilash Chandra Mishra explained that one significant change under Yogi’s government is the timely distribution of textbooks to students. Previously, books were received only after half the academic session had passed. The current administration has also established modern laboratories.

Clearly, under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, there have been unprecedented changes in Uttar Pradesh’s education system in recent years, with the Composite Upper Primary School in Sikanderpur standing out as a prime example.

The school has not only received the Nipun Vidyalaya Award and the Excellence School Award from the UP government but has also achieved first place in divisional cultural and sports competitions. Alongside academics, the school emphasizes a clean campus, mid-day meals, clean drinking water, sanitation facilities, and sports amenities.
