Lucknow, August 21: A shocking incident has emerged from Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, where a father, under the influence of alcohol, shot his daughter in the head, resulting in her immediate death. The tragic event took place in the Ramapura Naogawan village of Bisalpur. Following the incident, the accused father fled the scene.
Upon receiving information, the Bisalpur police arrived at the location and took possession of the body, initiating an investigation. The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Anshika Gangwar. The accused father, Ajaypal Gangwar, is alleged to have shot his daughter during a heated argument.
The news of the incident caused panic in the village. Rahul Pandey, the area officer of Bisalpur, reported that a call was received at 6:10 PM on Friday, informing that a father had shot his daughter while intoxicated in Ramapura Naogawan village.
Upon arrival, the police interrogated family members. They revealed that Anshika Gangwar was at home when her father, Ajaypal Gangwar, returned home drunk. An argument ensued, during which he shot her in the head, leading to her death on the spot.
After the incident, Ajaypal Gangwar fled the scene. The police have taken the body for post-mortem examination and are actively searching for the accused. A case has been registered based on the complaint received, and legal proceedings have begun.
