Major Administrative Reshuffle in Uttar Pradesh: 15 IAS Officers Transferred

Lucknow, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : The Uttar Pradesh government executed a significant administrative reshuffle on Saturday, transferring 15 IAS officers across various departments. Among those affected are the Chief Development Officers (CDOs) of Jaunpur and Mau, along with officials from the Panchayati Raj, Medical Education, Geology and Mining, Medical Supply Corporation, and the Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council.

According to the new orders, Dhruv Khandiya, previously the Chief Development Officer of Jaunpur, has been appointed as the CDO of Mau. Vivek Kumar Srivastava, the former CDO of Mau, will now serve as a Judicial Member at the Revenue Council in Prayagraj. Narendra Bahadur Singh, the Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) of Lakhimpur Kheri, has been designated as the new CDO of Jaunpur.

In this reshuffle, Rakesh Kumar Singh, the ADM (Finance and Revenue) of Lucknow, has been named as the Additional Commissioner of the Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council. Neeraj Shukla, the Additional Commissioner of the council, has been assigned the role of Managing Director of the PCF. Dr. Chandrabhooshan has been transferred from the Managing Director of PCF to serve as the Additional Director at the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management.

Additionally, Sachin Kumar Singh, the Additional Director of the Uttar Pradesh State Agricultural Produce Market Council, has been appointed as the Special Secretary for Medical Education. The government has also made important changes in the Panchayati Raj and PCDF sectors. Shri Hari Pratap Shahi, the Additional Chief Executive Officer of UPEIDA, will now serve as the Director of Panchayati Raj. Amit Kumar Singh has been transferred from the Director of Panchayati Raj to become the Managing Director of PCDF, while Prakash Bindu, the Managing Director of PCDF, has been appointed as the Secretary for Medical Education.

Mala Srivastava has been relieved of her duties as the Director of Geology and Mining. Dr. Ujjwal Kumar, the Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Medical Supply Corporation, has been appointed as the Special Secretary and Director of Geology and Mining. J. Ribha, the Special Secretary and Additional Director of Geology and Mining, will now take over as the Managing Director of the Uttar Pradesh Medical Supply Corporation.

The government also announced changes at the level of Registrar in two prominent universities. Archana Gaharwar, the Registrar of King George’s Medical University, has been appointed as the Registrar of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Meanwhile, Reena Singh, the Registrar of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, will now serve as the Registrar of King George’s Medical University.
