Hazaribagh, June 1: The discovery of the bodies of two missing siblings in Hazaribagh district has sent shockwaves through the community. Twelve-year-old Tamanna Parveen and her three-year-old brother Rizwan went missing five days ago from the Katkamsandi police station area. Authorities suspect foul play in their deaths. In response, the Superintendent of Police has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to delve into the case, enlisting forensic and technical experts to assist in the investigation.
The siblings were reported missing on May 27. Late Sunday night, Tamanna’s body was recovered from the Sindur River in the Korra police station area. The following afternoon, Rizwan’s body was found in a well in the same locality.
After the children went missing, their father filed a missing person report at the Katkamsandi police station. The police and family members had been actively searching for them. The tragic news of their deaths has devastated the family and sparked outrage and concern among local residents.
Reports indicate that the family originally hails from Uttar Pradesh and has been making a living selling toys in Hazaribagh. The loss of the children has left the family in shock. They expressed frustration, claiming that the police did not take their missing persons report seriously. They believe that prompt action could have saved their children.
In light of the situation, Hazaribagh’s Superintendent of Police Aman Kumar has ordered an immediate investigation. Under his directive, Additional Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar is leading the SIT. Investigators are meticulously examining evidence collected from the crime scenes and employing scientific methods to uncover the truth.
ASP Amit Kumar stated that the police are considering all angles in their investigation. He mentioned that multiple teams are conducting raids to identify and apprehend those involved in the incident.
Authorities are optimistic that they will soon resolve the case. Currently, the police are focused on determining the cause of death and uncovering the full conspiracy behind this tragic event based on autopsy reports, technical evidence, and other clues.
