TMC in Panic Over Election Results, Claims Shah Nawaz Hussain

Patna, May 1: Former Union Minister and BJP spokesperson Syed Shah Nawaz Hussain has made strong remarks regarding the current political situation in West Bengal, following chaos outside the strong room in Kolkata.

He stated that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) is panicking due to the fear of defeat, which has led its leaders to approach the strong room.

In an interview, Hussain asserted that the public has already made its decision, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to come to power with full strength. He also claimed that most exit polls are favoring the BJP, indicating a significant majority for the party in West Bengal.

Hussain expressed confidence in the Election Commission‘s procedures, stating that it has conducted fair elections. He accused the TMC of attempting to blame the Commission for its anticipated loss. He noted that whenever the Election Commission summoned TMC leaders, they failed to attend, while the BJP has performed better and is in a position to form the government.

Meanwhile, Bihar BJP state president Sanjay Sarawagi commented that this situation reflects TMC’s desperation. He mentioned that the party has realized it could lose even crucial seats like Bhawanipur. Sarawagi alleged that activities occurring in the presence of the Returning Officer (RO) and other political parties are illegal and violate Election Commission rules.

He further emphasized that strong rooms are entirely secure, monitored by CCTV cameras, and no one is allowed inside without permission. Attempts to enter without authorization are against the rules.

Sarawagi also raised concerns about the law and order situation in West Bengal, stating that the state has experienced a “Maha Jungle Raj” over the past 15 years, causing hardships for the common people.
