Thief Arrested in Delhi After Stealing Eight Coffee Machines to Repay Loan

New Delhi, September 11 (Daily Kiran) : Central District and Chandni Mahal police in New Delhi have swiftly resolved a warehouse theft case, arresting a suspect and recovering all stolen items within 24 hours. The incident occurred on September 8, when a complaint was filed at the Chandni Mahal police station regarding the theft of eight coffee machines valued at approximately ₹90,000 from a warehouse in the Pucha Nahar Khan area. The thieves broke the locks to gain access.

Recognizing the seriousness of the crime, authorities formed a special team to identify and apprehend the culprits while recovering the stolen goods. The team meticulously analyzed footage from several CCTV cameras located along the route to the crime scene. Their persistent efforts led to a breakthrough, allowing them to track down a suspect.

On September 9, police arrested 26-year-old Azeem in the Lal Kuan area based on intelligence gathered during the investigation. Following his arrest, officers recovered all eight coffee machines from his residence, successfully returning the stolen property to its owner.

During questioning, Azeem confessed to his involvement in the theft, stating that he acted alone but was motivated by the need to repay a loan. Investigators are now working to uncover the identity and role of another individual involved in the crime, who is reportedly a minor. The investigation remains ongoing.
