Telangana T20 League: A Remarkable Initiative by Hyderabad Cricket Association, Says Aaron George

New Delhi, July 1: The Telangana T20 League (TG20) commenced on June 21, with the final match scheduled for July 12. Eight teams are competing in this exciting tournament. The Ranga Reddy Risers (RRR) have performed impressively, securing three wins out of four matches, placing them third with six points. RRR’s opening batsman, Aaron George, praised the league as a fantastic initiative by the Hyderabad Cricket Association.

In an exclusive interview, Aaron George stated, “This is a remarkable initiative by the Hyderabad Cricket Association. It provides ample opportunities for young talents and those who have not advanced far in their careers but are still striving to make their mark. This tournament features a diverse group of cricketers with various talents, and having such a platform at a young age is invaluable.”

Regarding his team’s preparations, George mentioned, “It has been great. I believe it’s all about interacting with new people and understanding how we can be effective in a team environment. Personally, we have all performed well. Our focus has been on how we can support each other as a team and elevate our performance—our preparation has revolved around that. Everything is going smoothly.”

Discussing his batting style, George remarked, “The game is always evolving. Things will change over the years. For now, I think there is a significant emphasis on the power aspects of the game, and each player has different ways to tackle that. When it comes to my batting, I play a lot in the gaps and run extensively during my innings.”
