TCL CSOT Unveils Advanced Displays and AI Tech at CES 2026

TCL CSOT showcased a wide array of next-generation display technologies at CES 2026, themed “A Limitless Future of Displays.” The company presented innovations based on its APEX philosophy, which stands for Amazing Display Experience, Protective Eye Health, Eco-friendly Design, and Unlimited Imaginative Potential. The showcase highlighted improvements in image quality, immersive viewing, eye-safe technology, sustainable materials, power efficiency, and AI-driven advancements designed for the future of smart devices.

Jun Zhao, Senior Vice President of TCL Technology and CEO of TCL CSOT, outlined the company’s vision to develop smarter, healthier, and environmentally friendly display solutions. He explained TCL’s strategy of “AI for Display and Display for AI,” where displays serve as a core component in AI-powered devices. TCL CSOT also introduced X Intelligence 3.0, a large AI model tailored for the display industry, enhancing product analysis and materials development.

Among the highlights was the 98-inch HVA Ultra Infinity View TV Display, featuring independent RGB backlight control with over 18,000 dimming zones and covering more than 96% of the BT.2020 colour space. This panel offers deeper contrast, reduced reflection, anti-glare capabilities, and an ultra-slim bezel for a cinematic viewing experience.

TCL CSOT also unveiled the world’s first Sliding and Multi-Curved IJP OLED Automotive Display measuring 28 inches. This innovative screen expands from 16 inches, uses a genuine RGB pixel layout, supports over 100,000 sliding cycles, and boasts a futuristic curved design aimed at premium smart car cockpits.

Focusing on eye health, the company introduced the world’s first Natural-Light-Certified OLED Mobile Display (6.89 inches) with second-generation circular polarizer technology that enhances visibility in sunlight while reducing glare. Additionally, the Natural-Light Switchable Monitor (27 inches) uses full-spectrum backlighting and circular polarization to mimic natural daylight, thereby reducing eye strain during prolonged use.

In sustainability efforts, TCL CSOT presented the world’s first PFAS-Free Notebook Display (14 inches), which removes harmful “forever chemicals” from panel materials and components, replacing them with safer alternatives. The Partitioned Frequency Division OLED Tablet Display (13.2 inches) incorporates LTPO technology with per-zone adaptive refresh rates ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, achieving 15% to 25% power savings without compromising smooth performance.

For extended reality (XR) and micro-display applications, TCL CSOT revealed the world’s highest-PPI Real RGB G-OLED Display (2.56 inches) with 1512 PPI, ultra-fast response time, high contrast, and broad colour support. The company also showcased a single-chip full-colour Si-Micro LED display (0.28 inches) with 1280×720 resolution and 5131 PPI, designed for bright, power-efficient visuals suitable for lightweight AR glasses and slim VR headsets. Furthermore, the Real Stripe RGB IJP OLED Mobile Display (5.65 inches) demonstrated advanced inkjet-printed OLED technology, delivering high text clarity and pixel density.

Through its CES 2026 presentation, TCL CSOT established itself as a leader in human-centric design, sustainable innovation, AI-integrated development, and cutting-edge display engineering. The company aims to build a future display ecosystem supporting smarter, healthier, and more immersive experiences across televisions, automotive systems, mobile devices, XR platforms, and productivity screens.
