Tamil Nadu Voters Set to Teach Stalin a Lesson, Says Piyush Goyal

Chennai, April 21: Union Minister Piyush Goyal stated on Tuesday that the people of Tamil Nadu will deliver a significant victory to the NDA to teach “Mr. Stalin” a lesson.

Speaking to a news agency, Goyal expressed his relief that Udhayanidhi Stalin and his father, M.K. Stalin, have finally realized that by undermining Tamil culture, pride, tradition, and heritage, they have hurt the sentiments of every Tamil person. He emphasized that Tamil Nadu will neither forget nor forgive these actions.

Goyal asserted that the people of Tamil Nadu will grant the NDA such a massive win that “Mr. Stalin,” whom he calls “anti-Tamil,” will be taught a lesson for continuously fabricating false narratives and denying reservations to women. He held the Congress and the DMK primarily responsible for the failure to ensure reservations.

He further noted a visible wave in favor of the NDA, predicting that Edappadi K. Palaniswami will be the next Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Referring to regional leadership, Goyal mentioned that N. Chandrababu Naidu, who comes from South India, has not harmed the interests of South India or the Northeast. He has also not weakened the goal of ensuring equal opportunities for every part of India and every woman. Goyal criticized Stalin for failing to meet the expectations of the people of Tamil Nadu.

It is worth noting that Tuesday marks the last day of campaigning in Tamil Nadu. According to the Election Commission, all forms of campaigning will cease after 6 PM. With time running out, political parties have intensified their final outreach efforts across all districts.

During the campaign, BJP leaders have accused the DMK of poor governance in the state, claiming that dynastic politics has spread to the village level under its rule.

AIADMK leader Palaniswami claimed that the deteriorating law and order situation and rising crimes against women are the responsibility of the DMK government.

On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal stated that Tamil Nadu has progressed under the DMK government. He criticized the AIADMK for allying with the BJP, comparing it to the current political situation of former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
