Arvind Kejriwal Praises MK Stalins Leadership in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, April 21: Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and former Chief Minister of Delhi, addressed the media in Chennai, sharing his insights on Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. He expressed high regard for the DMK and Chief Minister MK Stalin.

Kejriwal noted that Stalin and his party have consistently supported him. He highlighted the significant development in Tamil Nadu over the past five years, stating that Stalin’s voice resonates strongly on national issues. He urged the people of Tamil Nadu to support the DMK alliance.

On Monday, Kejriwal and Stalin conducted a joint roadshow, which received overwhelming public support. According to Kejriwal, Stalin is an immensely popular leader, well-liked by the public. He described their relationship as brotherly and assured that his support would continue.

Targeting the BJP, Kejriwal remarked that the people of Tamil Nadu do not favor the BJP’s politics, which has hindered the party’s establishment in the state. He accused the AIADMK of being entirely under BJP’s influence and expressed confidence that voters would not support the NDA.

He warned that if the BJP secures even one seat, they would attempt to form a government, potentially jeopardizing the positive developments in the state. Kejriwal labeled the BJP as the most corrupt party, noting that people in Delhi are also growing weary of them.

Citing Gujarat as an example, he mentioned that despite the BJP’s long-standing rule there, conditions remain poor. He clarified that he is no longer part of the India alliance. Chennai, he remarked, is a beautiful city, and its residents appreciate Stalin’s efforts.

Kejriwal stated that when the public is satisfied, there is no need for alternatives. However, he acknowledged that in a democracy, everyone has the right to contest elections, making it natural for the victorious party to run.

He also praised Tamil Nadu’s breakfast scheme, calling it a commendable initiative. Regarding women’s reservation, he indicated that it is primarily a matter of delimitation, which could impact democracy, hence his opposition to it.
