
Chennai, March 18: Amid the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hosted an Iftar party. Syed Ibrahim, also known as Vellore Ibrahim, the national secretary of the BJP’s minority front, stated that both Muslim and Christian communities have benefited from the BJP-NDA government. He emphasized the party’s efforts to communicate the central government’s schemes to the people of the state during the elections.
In an interview with a news agency, Vellore Ibrahim remarked, “The Iftar party organized by BJP workers for our Muslim brothers and sisters was a great success. We will unite to support the NDA in the upcoming assembly elections, strengthening Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hand to advance the nation.”
He also leveled serious accusations against the ruling DMK government in Tamil Nadu. Vellore Ibrahim described the DMK as a corrupt government that insults those who believe in God and Allah. He urged everyone to rally behind the NDA, reiterating the slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ as they aim to oust the current administration.
He added that the upcoming election is crucial for everyone’s future. Vellore Ibrahim plans to encourage all Muslim brothers and sisters to vote for the NDA, highlighting the benefits they have received under the BJP-NDA government. He expressed confidence that they will win the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
It is noteworthy that the election schedule for all 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu has been announced. Voting will take place in a single phase on April 23, with results declared on May 4. According to the Election Commission, the total number of voters in Tamil Nadu is 5,67,74,436, with 12.51 lakh voters participating for the first time.
