Swami Prasad Maurya Responds to Akhilesh Yadavs Remarks, Calls for Accountability
Swami Prasad Maurya criticizes Akhilesh Yadavs comments, emphasizing the need for accountability and highlighting political issues in Uttar Pradesh.

Jaunpur, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : Swami Prasad Maurya, the national president of his party, has strongly reacted to comments made by Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party. Maurya stated that this is not the time for certifications but rather for responding to what he termed as Yadav’s nonsensical remarks. He criticized the Samajwadi Party, pointing out that during challenging times, instead of standing firmly with Azam Khan, Yadav opted to send a BJP-affiliated individual to the Rajya Sabha instead of Khan’s wife, revealing his true character.
Addressing the release of Azam Khan, Maurya remarked, “The entire Muslim community is witnessing the political animosity directed at Azam Khan, which is a significant stain on democracy. This deal will cost the BJP dearly in the future.” He emphasized that Khan, a prominent leader, has been harassed without any substantial evidence, resulting in his imprisonment along with his family.
Maurya characterized this situation as one of the worst chapters in democracy, questioning how low the BJP can stoop in politics. He noted that the Samajwadi Party has failed to stand strong with Azam Khan, especially when there was an opportunity to represent him in the Rajya Sabha during such difficult times.
He posed a critical question: “What is Akhilesh Yadav’s true face?” Maurya believes the entire state is aware of Yadav’s actions and the influences behind them. He asserted that the Dalit, backward, and Muslim communities have realized that Yadav is attempting to weaken the alliance at the behest of the BJP.
Looking ahead, Maurya announced a significant political rally scheduled for the following day. This event will address the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner and the alleged conspiracy to disenfranchise millions of voters under the guise of SIR. He plans to attend the historic demonstration at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan.
Maurya outlined three primary demands for the rally: the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner, the reinstatement of millions of voters removed from the electoral rolls under SIR, and a call to “Remove EVMs, Bring Back Ballot Papers, Save Democracy, Save the Nation.”
In response to Amit Shah’s recent comments about the BJP’s influence in Uttar Pradesh, Maurya suggested that these statements might be an attempt to divert attention from the BJP’s poor performance in the recent Legislative Council elections.
