Uttar Pradesh Minister Criticizes Akhilesh Yadav Over Law and Order Issues

Uttar Pradesh Minister Aseem Arun slams Akhilesh Yadav, highlighting improvements in law and order under BJP leadership.

Lucknow, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Minister Aseem Arun has taken aim at Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav, asserting that before commenting on the state’s law and order, Yadav should apologize to the public for his tenure. Arun’s remarks come amid ongoing discussions about the state’s security situation.

He emphasized that under the BJP government, significant improvements have been made in law enforcement. Arun stated that while the Samajwadi Party raises concerns about law and order today, they seem to forget their own era, when mafia influence was rampant and the government appeared powerless against criminals. He noted that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, the rule of law has been restored, and public trust in the government is steadily increasing.

In response to Yadav’s allegations against the Election Commission, Arun dismissed them as baseless. He pointed out that after nearly 22 years, the introduction of the Special Identification Registration (SIR) system will help curb bogus voting.

BJP spokesperson Dr. Ankush Tripathi also weighed in, suggesting that Yadav should release a white paper on law and order during the Samajwadi Party’s rule from 2012 to 2017. He claimed that during that period, approximately one thousand riots occurred, and the mafia operated with impunity, leading to a deteriorating security situation. Tripathi argued that Yadav’s criticisms of the Election Commission stem from concerns over the removal of infiltrators from voter lists.

Looking ahead to the 2027 assembly elections, Tripathi expressed confidence that the public is prepared to reject the Samajwadi Party and Akhilesh Yadav.
