BJP Criticizes Opposition Rally, Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Spreading Chaos
BJP leaders attack Rahul Gandhi and opposition parties, claiming their rally aimed at undermining democracy was a failure.

New Delhi, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a sharp critique of the recent rally held by opposition parties in New Delhi. BJP spokespersons R.P. Singh and Syed Zafar Islam responded to statements made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Akhilesh Yadav, and other opposition figures. They accused these leaders of attempting to mislead the public by questioning democracy and the electoral process.
Singh dismissed the rally as a failure, asserting that public confidence remains firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP’s policies. He pointed out that November 1 marks the anniversary of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, stating that the rally felt like “rubbing salt in our wounds.” Singh suggested that if Gandhi had any sensitivity, he would apologize to the victims in the widow colony.
Supporting Home Minister Amit Shah‘s remarks, Singh stated that there is no possibility of Rahul Gandhi becoming Prime Minister under the current Congress leadership. He criticized the party for adopting anti-national policies, claiming that the BJP continues to win elections due to the effectiveness of Modi’s government.
Singh emphasized that in a democracy, the only way to remove a Prime Minister is through elections. He challenged the opposition to present any evidence of electoral fraud, arguing that mere statements would not suffice to unseat Modi. He predicted that the BJP would secure a government in Uttar Pradesh in 2027, asserting that upcoming assembly elections would clarify where public trust lies.
In a separate conversation, Syed Zafar Islam remarked that the opposition is attempting to create chaos in the name of democracy but has received a clear response from the public. He noted that while they claimed a turnout of one million at the rally, the venue remained largely empty. According to him, this indicates a lack of public trust in the opposition, who he accused of using such events to damage the country’s image globally.
Islam highlighted that despite multiple political parties gathering for the rally, the streets of Delhi remained normal, further underscoring the event’s lack of impact. He also mentioned that the way Akhilesh Yadav and his party mock Rahul Gandhi suggests that their alliance may not endure in the future.
