Hisar, August 16: The district administration of Hisar, Haryana, has implemented strict prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Indian National Security Code (BNSC), 2023. This directive, issued by District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner Mahender Pal, is effective from August 15 until further notice.
The decision comes in response to recent protests by the family of a deceased individual and others, raising concerns about potential disruptions to law and order. In light of calls for demonstrations and blockades at toll plazas, the administration deemed it necessary to take preventive measures.
Under the new orders, gatherings of four or more individuals in public spaces within Hisar are prohibited. The administration emphasizes that this step is crucial for maintaining public safety and peace.
Additionally, parking of vehicles on both sides of roads within a 200-meter radius of designated areas in Hisar is banned. This measure aims to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent complications for security agencies during emergencies.
The administration has also prohibited the carrying of sticks, swords, sharp weapons, and other dangerous items. Furthermore, individuals are not allowed to transport petrol, diesel, or other flammable substances in bottles, cans, or any open containers.
The district administration has made it clear that strict action will be taken against those violating these orders under Section 223 of the Indian National Security Code, 2023, along with other relevant legal provisions.
These restrictions are aimed at safeguarding public and government property, maintaining traffic order, and preventing any untoward incidents. Citizens are urged to uphold peace and comply with the directives issued by the administration.
