
Beijing, March 20: In a significant diplomatic meeting, Ting Shweiyang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council of China, met with Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, the UAE President’s Special Envoy for China, in Beijing.
During the meeting, Ting emphasized that under the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, mutual political trust between the two nations is continuously strengthening. He noted that practical cooperation across various sectors has yielded positive outcomes. Ting reaffirmed China’s commitment to viewing China-UAE relations from a strategic perspective and effectively implementing the significant agreements reached by the top leaders of both countries.
Ting expressed China’s readiness to deepen high-level exchanges and enhance cooperation in energy, investment, and trade with the UAE. He also highlighted the joint efforts to elevate the comprehensive strategic partnership to new heights, continually benefiting the peoples of both nations. Additionally, he stated that China is prepared to play a positive role in restoring peace and stability in the Gulf region.
Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak reiterated the UAE’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with China and advancing cooperation across various fields. He expressed hope that China would play a crucial role in promoting regional peace and stability.
