SSC CP0 Recruitment 2026: 1,871 Sub-Inspector Positions Available, Apply by September 30

New Delhi, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced a significant opportunity for job seekers in New Delhi. A total of 1,871 sub-inspector positions are now open for recruitment under the 2026 examination for the Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).

According to the official notification, the vacancies include 205 male and 112 female sub-inspector positions in the Delhi Police, along with 1,320 sub-inspector roles in CAPF and 234 fire sub-inspector positions in the CISF.

The online application process began on September 10 and will remain open until September 30, 2026. Candidates interested in applying can complete their registration on the SSC’s official website by 11 PM on the final date. Additionally, the last date for submitting the application fee is set for October 1 at 11 PM. For those who make errors while filling out their application, a correction window will be open from October 8 to October 10, allowing for necessary adjustments and fee payment.

To qualify for these sub-inspector roles, applicants must possess a graduation degree from a recognized institution or university. For the CISF fire sub-inspector position, candidates need a bachelor’s degree in science with physics, chemistry, and mathematics, or a diploma in a relevant engineering field after matriculation.

The age requirements vary by position. For the CISF fire sub-inspector role, applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old, while the age range for other positions is 20 to 25 years. Age calculations will be based on August 1, 2026, with relaxations for candidates from reserved categories.

Selection will be based on a Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Endurance Test (PET), Detailed Medical Examination (DME), and document verification. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400.

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹100 for general, OBC, and EWS categories. However, SC/ST, ex-servicemen, and female candidates are exempt from this fee.
