Mumbai, September 28 (Daily Kiran) : Director Harish Vyas’s family drama, ‘Om Ka Hari,’ is set to have special screenings at more than 50 army centers across India. Producer Anshuman Jha emphasized the film’s intent to connect with audiences rather than simply sell tickets.
Starting Monday, Jha will embark on a tour of 15 cities, including Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Agra, Jaipur, Bengaluru, and Patna, where he will host these special screenings. He remarked, “This is an old way to connect with the audience, not just to sell them a film. I make movies to create connections; my aim has never been transactional but always emotional.”
Jha further explained, “I want to reach my audience and am willing to work hard to go the extra mile. Charlie Chaplin traveled from city to city with his films; I want to do the same with ‘Om Ka Hari.’ I want to watch the film with the audience, hear their feelings, and engage in conversations.”
He believes that the audience’s love for the film is genuine. Jha aims to take the film’s message to even more viewers, hoping to spread its themes widely.
With screenings planned at over 50 army centers, ‘Om Ka Hari’ has entered its second week in theaters, generating increasing buzz among viewers. The screenings will allow thousands of audiences nationwide to experience the film, which features multiple showings at various centers.
The film explores the complexities of the father-son relationship through comedy and drama, addressing topics that families often struggle to express. Starring Anshuman Jha and Raghubir Yadav as Om and Hari, the film tells the story of a stubborn father and his free-spirited son, navigating generational differences, disagreements, and deep hopes. When Hari believes he has only a few days left to live, he decides to travel to Varanasi with Om.
