Udaipur, March 1, 2026 : Spartan Cricket Academy clinched the Rockwoods Blazing Strikers Cricket Cup 2026 title with a commanding 93-run victory over CPS, Mewar Royals in the final.
Batting first after winning the toss, Spartan Cricket Academy posted 189 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ravi Bishnoi played a blistering knock of 52 runs off just 24 balls. Shubham Garhwal contributed 45 runs in 20 balls, while Dhruv Singh added 40 runs off 28 deliveries to take the team to a strong total.
In bowling, Pushpendra Singh claimed 3 wickets and Aniruddh Singh picked up 2 wickets.
Chasing the target, CPS, Mewar Royals were bowled out for 96 runs in 17.5 overs. Pushpendra Singh top-scored for his side with 31 runs off 34 balls.
For Spartan, Ravi Bishnoi took 3 wickets, while Ganesh and Shivam Bhanu secured 2 wickets each to seal the victory. Ravi Bishnoi was adjudged Player of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by chief guests including Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashok Menaria (Under-19 India and Ranji Trophy player), and other dignitaries.
The winning team was awarded a cash prize of ₹10 lakh, while the runner-up received ₹5 lakh. Shubham Garhwal was named Player of the Series and received a trophy along with ₹31,000. Bharat Sharma was honoured as Best Batsman with a trophy and ₹21,000, while Ganesh Khurana received the Best Bowler award with a trophy and ₹21,000.
