The right-arm bowler has made a mark in the IPL with his sharp bowling, proving to be a valuable asset both with the new ball and in the death overs. His skill to swing the ball in both directions makes him a standout player.
In IPL 2026, Kartik showcased his wicket-taking ability and improved control, catching the attention of many. This season, he has claimed 18 wickets in 14 matches for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), averaging 27.66.
Despite facing challenges with shin pain and recurring muscle issues that kept him off the field multiple times between 2021 and 2025, Kartik has significantly improved his bowling after recovering from injuries.
