Mumbai, May 6: The demand for films addressing real societal issues on OTT platforms has surged. In this context, a new film titled ‘System’ is set to make its debut, showcasing the tug-of-war between law, justice, and power. The film tells the story of two women from vastly different backgrounds who come together to unveil the truth.
‘System’ will be released on Prime Video on May 22, 2026. This legal drama portrays how a powerful government prosecutor and an ordinary stenographer strive to bring long-suppressed truths to light. The narrative takes several twists, forcing them to choose between supporting authority or standing for what is right.
In the film, Sonakshi Sinha plays Neha Rajvansh, a strong and confident public prosecutor. Jyotika stars as Sarika Rawat, a court stenographer from a humble background. Despite their differing perspectives and upbringings, they unite when it comes to justice. The film will depict the gradual strengthening of their bond.
Producer Harman Baweja stated, “‘System’ is the story of two women who understand justice in their own ways and struggle to achieve it. The performances by Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika, and Ashutosh Gowariker have made this narrative even more impactful.”
Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film also features Preeti Agarwal, Adinath Kothare, Ashriya Mishra, Gaurav Pandey, and Sayandeep Gupta in significant roles.
