Ghaziabad, August 22: A horrifying incident unfolded late last night in the Popular Vihar area of Khoda Colony, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. A man reportedly murdered his wife and 15-year-old daughter, while his other daughter, aged 14, sustained injuries during the attack. Upon receiving the news, police from the Khoda station rushed to the scene and promptly admitted the injured girl to the hospital. Fortunately, she is now out of danger and receiving treatment.
According to police reports, around 12:15 AM on the night between Friday and Saturday, authorities were alerted about the murders in Popular Vihar’s Street Number 3. A police team arrived at the location immediately. Investigations revealed that the suspect, Raja Ansari, originally from Araria, Bihar, lived on the fourth floor of a building with his wife, Bibi Tabassum, and their two daughters, Sana Tabassum and Ruby Tabassum.
Late at night, Raja Ansari attacked his wife Bibi Tabassum and their daughter Sana, resulting in their deaths. His other daughter, Ruby, was also injured in the assault. The incident sent shockwaves through the neighborhood. As soon as local residents learned of the tragedy, they notified the police. The injured girl was swiftly taken to MG Hospital, where she is currently being treated.
Police officials have stated that her condition is now stable. Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been taken into custody, and the process for conducting post-mortems is underway. Following the incident, Raja Ansari has been detained, and authorities are conducting thorough interrogations. Assistant Police Commissioner of Indirapuram, Surya Bali Maurya, confirmed that the police received the murder report around 12:15 AM.
