Shiv Sena Leader Praises Captain Smita Machhars Bravery Amid Hijacking Incident

Mumbai, October 1 (Daily Kiran) : Manisha Kayande, a leader of the Shiv Sena party, has expressed her admiration for Captain Smita Machhar of FlyDubai, praising her courage during a recent hijacking incident. Kayande highlighted Machhar’s composure and determination, which played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of passengers under challenging circumstances.
Speaking to a news agency, Kayande remarked on the captain’s ability to manage the situation effectively as reports of the hijacking emerged. “Captain Machhar has now become a hero for our country,” she stated, extending her congratulations on behalf of the Shiv Sena and commending her bravery. Kayande emphasized that Machhar risked her own life to save many others, making her deserving of recognition and respect.
In her comments, Kayande also took aim at Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), asserting that despite being part of the INDIA alliance, he has changed his leadership. She claimed that their current leader is not Rahul Gandhi or Akhilesh Yadav, but rather Abhijit Dipke.
Kayande mentioned that Dipke plans to come to Mumbai for a protest at Shivaji Park, suggesting that Thackeray may be preoccupied with preparations for this event.
Addressing the CJP, Kayande noted that the police had denied them permission for certain activities. She accused the group of previously conducting various events at Shivaji Park that lacked decorum and of making inappropriate statements about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders.
She raised concerns about the nature of these activities and questioned whether they aim to teach such behavior to the younger generation. Kayande stressed the importance of maintaining decorum in public events and demonstrations.
