Mumbai, June 21: On Father’s Day, renowned filmmaker Shekhar Kapur reflected on his relationship with his daughter, Kaavya Kapoor. Meanwhile, actor Randeep Hooda’s wife, Lin Laishram, shared an emotional post about their journey into parenthood.
Shekhar Kapur took to Instagram to share an old photograph with his daughter, Kaavya. He wrote, “How can I forget the moment you were born in a hospital in London? I remember that little magical part of life. At that moment, I felt like life was unfolding according to God’s plan.”
In his post, Kapur expressed, “My daughter has an incredible understanding of poetry and music. She is wiser than I am. Whenever I miss her, I look at her pictures on my phone. She is currently studying abroad.”
On the other hand, Lin Laishram shared a touching post featuring Randeep Hooda cradling their daughter. She wrote, “Randeep is an amazing father. He thinks deeply about every little thing when caring for our daughter—whether it’s holding her properly, singing her lullabies, or ensuring no detail is overlooked. Sometimes, he questions if he is doing everything right, and this concern makes him a wonderful father.”
In her post, Lin also wished Randeep a Happy Father’s Day, stating, “We feel lucky to have you.”
Randeep Hooda also shared an old photo of his father, reflecting on the significance of parenthood. He wrote, “Becoming a father has deepened my understanding of your struggles and love. This new experience has completely transformed my life and made me appreciate family even more.”
