Shah Nawaz Hussain Advocates for Vande Mataram to Hold Supreme Place in India

New Delhi, July 11: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Syed Shah Nawaz Hussain has voiced his party’s stance on various issues, including ‘Vande Mataram’, the Bihar Assembly by-elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Australia, and the current state of the Punjab Congress.

In an interview with a news agency, Hussain emphasized that ‘Vande Mataram’ should be given the highest honor and sung with pride, respect, and love. He mentioned that an advisory has been issued regarding the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’. According to him, this practice is already in place in Bihar and will be implemented in other regions as well.

Addressing questions about BJP leader Narottam Mishra not receiving a ticket for the Datia seat in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly by-elections, Hussain stated that no leader in the BJP has a personal right to a ticket, nor is anyone’s ticket revoked arbitrarily. The party follows a defined process for selecting candidates. He expressed confidence that the BJP candidate in Datia will win by a significant margin.

Regarding the Bankipur Assembly seat, he noted that Abhishek Banti was initially nominated as the BJP candidate but later withdrew due to family reasons. Consequently, the party announced Neeraj Sinha as the candidate. Hussain asserted that the NDA candidate in Bankipur would also secure a substantial victory.

Criticizing the Punjab Congress, Hussain remarked that the party is fragmented into multiple factions, not just two. He alleged that there is internal dissent against Rahul Gandhi’s decisions. He predicted a weak future for Congress in Punjab while asserting that the BJP will strengthen its position. He also claimed that Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party will continue to struggle over leadership roles in the opposition.

On Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Australia, Hussain described it as highly successful. He noted that the presence of over 30,000 people at the Melbourne Cricket Stadium is a testament to Modi’s global popularity. He stated that this visit has further solidified India-Australia relations and highlighted Modi’s appeal for peace in West Asia, delivering a message to end conflicts worldwide.
